Personal Bio

Eric Goldemberg is co-founder of MONAD Studio, an architecture design and art research practice with focus in the creation of 3D-printed sonic sculptures, art installations and experimental architecture. Goldemberg is Associate Professor and Digital Design Coordinator at Florida International University and Director of London’s Architectural Association Visiting Program in Miami; he is the author of the book “Pulsation in Architecture” which highlights spatial perception related to rhythmic affect.

The work of MONAD Studio has been published by New York Times, BBC, The Guardian, Corriere della Sera, Libération, CNBC, FOX News, Forbes, Robb Report, Art Daily, Los Angeles Times, Architectural Design, Architectural Record among others. MONAD Studio's ground-breaking 3D-printed installations and music instruments have been exhibited recently at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale and Milan’s Salone del Mobile; at MoMA, Javits Center, P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, Metropolitan Gallery (New York); Cosmo Caixa (Barcelona); Mies van der Rohe’s Tugendhat Villa Museum in Brno and Galerie Jaroslava Fragnera in Prague (Czech Republic); Geek Picnic Technology Festivals in Moscow and Saint Petersburg (Russia); Jewish Museum of Florida, Diana Lowenstein Gallery, New World Symphony, South Florida Art Center, Now Contemoporary Art (Miami).
